I have tried to research the matter prior to wasting anyone's time but I found no other way to get the Toro site to see that as a "valid" serial number. I am sure some of you have plowed this ground a zillion times and tire of such requests. The site recognizes the 81-16KS01 and I can enter "none" for serial and get around as needed, but would just like the site to recognize the serial. The first number refers to the model number and the second number.
Is the a prefix or suffix I need to add that isn't on the tag? The CODE number above the barcode is made of the model and the spec number. I can't get the Toro site to accept that 06476 number. But I am currently trying to look through the parts section of the Toro site for my 1978 C161A and I cannot get the site to accept the serial number no matter how I alter, substitute, change, add or pound the keyboard!Ĭan someone tell me how I should enter my serial number? We've all been to the Toro look up site, or at least you should have been! I find it cornfusing entering the model numbers and serial as the tag on the machine does not exactly have the right dashes or spaces as the site demands.
